During my recent stay at the Waterford, I found it to be a solid option for anyone seeking a convenient base at a reasonable price. The location is just a short walk from the beach, making it an excellent spot for strolls along the coast. The hotel features a restaurant that serves hearty portions; the chowder was particularly noteworthy. While the hotel offers basic accommodations, cleanliness was never in question, and a comfortable bed made for sound sleep after long days of exploring. Breakfast was decent, catering well to all tastes and again, offered great value for money—given all that is on offer. What stood out was the friendly staff, who were welcoming despite our late arrival. The presence of free Wi-Fi in rooms and the bar/lounge area added to the experience without straining the wallet. It’s a balance between comfort and cost that resonates.
